Today is the first day of SPRING!!! YESSSS!
Well the sun has finally been making her appearance lately and it has been soooo nice. The skiing is crappy and slushy and it’s been so great! I love spring skiing. And when I come back to Denver on the weekends I have been out and about on my bike. The doggies are out galloping around and it’s been fun watching the K9’s enjoy the weather too! Now the days are longer and the sun goes down at like 7:00 it seems and the sunsets have been MAGNIFICENT! So here are some spring time images for ya.
This first one says it all. Galloping Gary.

Duke Bradford grills up som brats outside PHQ.
I finally got my new bike and have made a few nice trips on it. Check out those classy decals!
The sun is out and Independance Bowl is still skiing swimmingly! This was taken with my trusty little G7! I love that camera!
Some more spring time images from the mountain. I only have 8 more days. I will conclude my season with a very special blog post in a couple weeks, so stay tuned!

Snow cats on their daily grooming run…

Spring time means watching what you eat so that you’ll look good in less on the hot summer days. We got a HUGE pan of hot moist brownies. B-rad Russer is not thinking about how he’ll look in his bathing suit and proceeds to eat the delicious brownies. I, of course, refrained.
A SECOND ON THE LIPS, A LIFETIME ON THE HIPS…. BRAD!

Oh and another note, right by the brownies, “A Fine Book”. That’s a very popular book in PHQ. Whenever we do something stupid, like fall under a lift line, or say naughty words in front of paying guests or children, or skiing with new boots, we get fined. The fines add up and go to our end of the season party.
Finally, here’s a nice springtime sunset. I took this while steering my car with my knees. I opened my sunroof, extended my arm out and took the photo. This is an advanced photography maneuver. Kids, don’t try this at home.
HAPPY SPRING TIME!!

Great stuff. Love the fleet of groomer cats - that’s a really cool shot (to me, anyway, and I can’t really explain why…).
