Vegas, part II

As promised here are some more shots from Vegas…

This was a shot from the airplane window as we started our descent into the desert. I LOVE photographing at airports, of planes, out of plane windows, yada yada yada. It’s a strange fascination of mine.

Yep, see, there’s a shot of a plane. I told you so! I posted this one for my Uncle Lee, who’s a pilot for Alaska Air.

Here’s a pretty blown glass piece in the Bellagio. Que bonita! (which means, “I love the colors!” in Spanish)… yes it does. YES IT DOES.

And the Paris with the Bellagio water spray in the foreground! Ve su de chevre’! (which means “wow, that’s so cool!” in French)… YES IT DOES!

And we had some Gelato at the Bellagio. ah fanaaaaaavala! (which means, “mmmmmmmm!”)

Here’s Jenny, who has CHAMPAGNE TASTE, in front of her FAAAAAAVORITE store. Just kidding. Thank GOD she is not the high-maintenance material girl type. She’s not all that impressed by diamond rings and shiny things. My kind of woman!

Orbie and Rebecca… once again, from Santa Cruz! I want to visit them!

Some of my older peeps might remember Amber, from AZ. I first did those vintage photos with her and the WWII planes a while back, then photographed her wedding, then Jim Kennedy and I used her as a model for a photoshoot we did for Stephanie’s dress shop… and since then, Amber has been my trusty assistant in Arizona for AZ weddings. She has done an amazing job and is now starting to shoot on her own, and doing a great job!

AND… some of my older peeps might ALSO remember CR and Tiffany. I photographed their wedding in Playa Del Carmen, MX last winter. They now are the proud parents of a baby girl, and are both starting to shoot weddings and portraits, which is very cool.

Here’s my AMAZING girlfriend of mine and I at THEhotel. I found my dream come true!

And finally, at the Airport. You know, I can only take like 3 days max in Vegas. All the slot machine sounds, the cigarette smoke, the gluttany, and all that stuff get to me after a short while. I love Vegas because it’s so amazing and visually stimulating… but HELLO… ANNNNNNND GOOOOOODBYE! This plane was a comforting sight.
