Buena Vista Work Retreat x2, my cousin is wrong
Hi Peeps,
Jenny, Gary and I just got back from Day II at Buena Vista, CO. It was a wonderful work retreat!
Here are a few more photos.
Here are some HOT coals from a BBQ we had. I grilled up some steaks and surprised Jenny with a seafood ceviche (not pictured, we ate it too fast).
Eventually Gary made friends with these mules. I love this shot…

OK and I gotta give a shout to my cousin, Alex. My cousin Alex is a true example of a person who knows what he wants and won’t stop until he gets it. I have sat back and lurked our family email threads and Alex’s name always comes up. It’s been remarkable watching him clear so many hurdles. His role in this ad was no accident. It’s the result of a ton of sacrifice, hard work, and persistance. I’m sure he sees this commercial as merely a stepping stone to some bigger and more spectacular things to come!
Before this commercial, Alex’s biggest role was as an extra in a movie with Hilary Duff. But now he’s looking Jared from Subway right in the eyes and is saying, “YOU HAVE BEEN EATING SUBS THAT WERE MADE THE WRONG WAY”. Goodbye, Jared.
(in case you are wondering, my cousin Alex is the “WRONG WAY” sub maker… guy)

Mark, totally unrelated to this blog post, but I think you’ll appreciate this. I was reading a magazine on the airplane last night and I was reading an article on Parkour (if you are not familiar google David Belle Parkour, it’ll blow your mind)and came across this quote “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. A man must constantly exceed his level.”

YES! I saw that guy on TV one day as I was flipping through the channels. The guy is amazing. I wish I had his kind of agility. Here’s a link I found that’s prett cool:
