It’s a Doggy Dogg World, tribute to the D-O-Double-G!

I have a real phobia of dogs, so last weekend I decided I would go to the Furry Scurry at Wash Park and face my fears. It worked. I now adore our K-9 community. Just kidding, if anyone knows me, they know that I LOVE dogs. Most of them, at least. The Furry Scurry is a 2 mile fun run at Wash Park, where G, Jenny, and I jog often. I also love riding around that park on my fixie. We met friends Steve, Cara, and Tucker. You might recognize them from this earlier post.

So I have a ton of photos, so I will stop typing…

Dogg #1

Dogg #2, Here is my favrite childhood cartoon character! I think he has the munchies. Hey did you ever see the Scooby Doo episodes where Scooby would be hiding from a ghost or zombie, and something would drop on his toe? Then he’d dance around trying not to yelp, then he’d find a jar and yelp into the jar and close the lid. Later the zombie would open the jar and out would come a “YOWWWWWWW!!!!!” from the jar. I wish we could do that in real life!

I don’t know this guy, but I though it would be fun to get a few shots of doggies with their owners… I am a people watcher, too, ya know. I think it’s interesting to see what kind of 4-legged companions certain people are attracted to.
