iPhone PHRENZY

Today thousands of peeps are waiting (camping) in front of Apple Stores in hope to get their first iPhone. I was tempted, but I decided to buy a really cool Italian bike instead. My t-Mobile contract suckered me all the way until May 5, 2008. I even considered paying the $200 penalty for that.

Then I had to think straight. I decided to get a really sweet bike. The iPhone is BRAND NEW. What if there are glitches? I can not afford to have a new device (especially a phone with all of my calendar info) freeze up on me.

Becker is a photographer in the OC (no, not Oklahoma City) who is camping to get his hands on an iPhone. I’ll follow his blog to see how he loves it. I checked his blog today (his is one of 3 blogs I check every day) and he was trying to get people to get him Krispy Kreme donuts, via mobile blogpost schmoozing, for him while he waits in line. Gotta love it. I’ll just live vicareously through him today. ha!

I’m gonna wait and see how people love it. Maybe when the next batch of iPhones come out I can become a proud owner. I’m proud of myself for not giving in - and I can’t afford to buy myself too many presents this month, as I am working on some really cool new business projects. I am trying to make less impulsive decisions, and more wise decisions… although I will ALWAYS follow my gut! I am a little envious of Becker though, I’ll admit it! Sounds fun!
