Gina and David
A few weeks ago I shot a really fun wedding in Colorado Springs. Gina and David are both from New York, I forget what their connection is with Colorado, but I am glad they chose me as their photographer. They were a really fun couple and what I think I loved most about their wedding is the strong family ties that were present.
They were so nice and appreciative of my work. Something that is not listed in my packages, but that I try to make happen whenever I can is the reception slide show. If I have enough time during dinner, I’ll make a slideshow of up to 300 of my favorite photos. I’ll set up my laptop somewhere that I think people will be socializing during the reception and play the slideshow. I managed to make one for Gina and David and they really seemed to love it. It’s also a lot of fun for the guests, when they feel like taking a break from dancing. It was really fun seeing everyone gather around the show and ohh and ahh at the images. Really makes me love what I do!
Such a tight group, I LOVED it. And lots of Italians, so of course I was in good company. Father Daugher Dance: “That’s Amore’”!!
Here’s Gina getting ready, she had a real classy look about her.

I love this shot of David and his father. They have a great relationship, and were kidding around with each other all night!

How can you get a candid ring shot? Here’s how!

I’m giving this couple a good mix of Color and Black and White photos, but for my blog favorites, I was really feeling this black and white and sepia tones for this wedding! Bride and her mom.

I LOVE this shot of the officiant, who was also a really, really fun and nice guy!

David is about ready to get married!

Sneaky shot of the Father of the Bride, lifting her veil

Mother of the bride, during the ceremony. I love it!

Some people think that I never pose for shots. Myth! I do. Just not a lot.

Thanks again Gina and David, I had such a great time, and you and everyone at your wedding were SO great to work with!!! Congratulations!
