Another Potpurri Post

Occasionally I like to please my peeps with a smorgasbord of thingys to wonder about, fascinate about, laugh about, cry about, and get really confused about. Today is one of those days.

First a funny story. You will have to have seen Office Space to appreciate this, but who hasn’t seen Office Space, right? I just got a new office in the same studio that I currently have. So I hired a handy man to come and install a new doorknob and deadbolt. The handyman is exactly like Lawrence, Peter’s next door neighbor in OFFICE SPACE.

Anyway Lawrence is a construction worker, always calls Peter, “Hey Peter-Man”. So my handyman looks, talks and even walks like Lawrence. He’s got the mullet and the handlebar mustache. As he left, I said, “Hey thanks Peter-Man” without thinking. I sort of caught myself and mumbled the last part and it was just a little akward but funny.

Next, only a month since, I have been dying to show off a few things I got for my bertday.

Jenny got me so much stuff (sixpeeps t-shirt, manbag…), but this is my favorite - a little photobook full of photos of me and my boy, G. Holy cow, how he has grown up. Time just goes by so fast. Here, take a peek! (sorry for the quality, I’m taking photos of photos here with a point and shoot)

This is a shot of Gary in Crested Butte. He was acting TOUGH live a DOVERMAN oughtta! (I like it when people call the Doberman a “Doverman” - it makes Jenny and I chuckle).

Me and Gary fell asleep, watching Days of Our Lives one Sunday afternoon (I have the DVD collection)

Another day, another nap. I really despise naps, but at the end of the day, G and I had a little tradition.

He’s getting a little bigger! Watching me do some work at Jenny’s place.

And my personal favorite of the entire book. Man little G is so determined to beat me in our little race - just look at his face, he’s out for a victory!

Thanks Jenny, that is the most thoughtful gift EVER and I am going to cherish this forever and ever!!

Also on my birthday, my Uncle Sal and Nonnie got together and made me this really funny birthday card. I have always loved my Uncle Sal’s cartoons!
Hey, look it’s ME! (is my hair starting to thin out? I better get some Nioxin before I’m kickin the full-on couldesac on my dome!
