Headshots!
Funny, I have been getting called for head shots recently. I love it when people contact me to shoot something other than weddings. I don’t advertise anything else than weddings, but it doesn’t mean I don’t love doing other stuff, like commercial work, fashion and headshots, family photos, etc. Why not, I have a really great, HUGE studio with some of the best natural light. It’s a crime to NOT utilize that!
Here are some head shots of Seth, a guy who wants to give his hand at modelling. His wife was at a wedding I photographed recently, who sent him out to my studio.
The “traditional” head shot is just as it’d described. Head and shoulders, simply to give agents and recruits a good, clean, basic idea of who they are working with. I did some traditional, some bending the rules, and some that were not traditional at all. Those were “Cafiero Head Shots”. They are much better!
Here’s Seth looking quite businessy. Qwest Commercial. No, not Qwest. I HATE Qwest. Comcast.

My studio is a loft upstairs from Shepton’s Antiques. Kent is the owner. He works there with his wife, mom, and now even his one year old girl, Evelynn who was born within two weeks of Gary. Yet Gary is much bigger than her (see below).
Anyway, he’s so cool that he lets us photogs shoot in his shop. Makes for interesting backdrops!

That’s a wrap! Thanks Seth for stopping by!
