Lifestyle Photos!
I love making up my own words. Last week I came up with a phrase: Perftastically Delegant! Delegant is a word I made up earlier this year. It means Delicious and Elegant. I used that do describe my famous Eggplant Parmesan! Perftastic is “perfect” and “fantastic”. So something really REALLY great, I say it’s “Perftastically Delegant!
There are two words (well technically three) that I am getting so tired of: BLOG and “Engagement Photos”. I am trying to find a new word for Sixpeeps, I was thinking of “photo journal” but that is even more boring. How about Visual NACHOS? I love nachos and it’s such a fun word to say. Here, say it out loud: NACHOS! Say it again, but LOUDER!!! N A C H O S ! ! ! That’s what I think of when I think of Sixpeeps. I may have to work on my new name for “blog”. Still doing my R&D.
Same goes for “engagement photos”. Doesn’t that just paint a really cheesy picture of a dorky lookin couple (guy has a mustache, and a mullet, girl has a gross floral blouse and “mom pants”… guy has hand rested on her shoulder, heads tilted just a bit together, studio lighting… really BAD studio lighting. Baby blue backdrop. Oval frame). OK I have the dry heeves right now.
So I am still finding a new term for this. Please be patient. I will eventually find a new name for “Engagement Photos”.
Anyway, here’s my version. Mckenzie and Andy, LODO!

I think one thing about the way I shoot is that I never mind when random people get in a shot. This is the real deal! Why go out of your way to take a moment and manicure it? I just have never understood that. I LOVE that there are some people checking out Mckenzie and Andy in front of the sushi place. They are not the center of attention. And they are checking them out with endearing expressions. I love it.

And the guy on the bike, hey they’re in LODO. Lots of people! The cyclist adds an interesting touch.

Of course I love a nice candid moment.

Here’s a few for “mom”. This is about as traditional as I like to get.

according to Wikipedia: “The corna is not to be confused as the sign for “I love you” in American Sign Language.”
