Cheryl and Chris, Vail, Colorado
Otaaaaaaay I’m a little behind with my blogging, it’s been busy over here, and over there… (CO and AZ). The new studio in Scottsdale is coming right along and I just literally got back from AZ about an hour ago.
How would you like to see some wedding photos of a couple of serious snowboarder/surfer dude/dudettes?
Meet Chris and Cheryl. When I first met with them, we had a consultation at the studio, it seemed I was a little bit out of their planned budget for photography. They left, and I sadly thought I’d never hear back from them because they were such cool peeps. Over a month later, Cheryl called me back asking if I still had the date available. After looking at lots of other photographers, they decided to re-adjust their budget for photography and came back to me. I remember them saying that they love my style and that it’s cool, not cheesy. Thanks!
So with that in mind, I really wanted to do a great job and make sure they got some perftastic images. They didn’t want ANY shots that were “cheesy” (posed). I managed to get them to pose for just a few. They hated it, but I think they will like this photo. ![]()

Let’s rewind once again… lots of great candid shots at this wedding. I know Chris and Cheryl really wanted me to put my focus on their wedding guests. Just what I love to do most! Bridesmaid and Cheryl’s mom.

They would only let me pose them for photos as long as they could do a punch-kick. OK, sounds good to me!

Hey, “No baby No shake, 2008″!

he seems OK, just a little shaken up. That first baby was really this guy’s stunt-double

These boots were made for walkin! (or carryin’). My favorite line in that song: “You’ve been lyin’, when ya shoulda’ been truthin!”

Checkin out the diamond rings, shiny things.

These girls are CRAZY! WHO ON EARTH takes a photo of another person, taking a photo? I’m sorry but that is really wierd. Creepy, even!

What’s this guy up to? He is scaring me.

OK, can somebody call security???!?!??!?

Nevermind! This man’s vocal chords have angel’s wings! Singing “Total Eclipse of the Heart”. Beautiful, just beautiful! DELEGANT!

OK now who’s THIS creepy fella?

And one last punch-kick for the happy couple!

Thanks so much for having me! I had such a great time!!! CONGRATS!
