Shawn & Whitney, Broadmoor Hotel. Colorado Style! ;)

How about another cool wedding? Shawn and Whitney got married at the ever-popular Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Nothing but really nice weddings and events happen at this venue.

Something interesting happened that turned this wedding into a photography FRENZY for me. What would seem to be a huge bummer, actually made this wedding extremely cool! I LOVED IT! (see below)

I’ve got a lot of cool photos from this wedding so I am going to quit the jibba jabba and just get to business here.

Meet Shawn and Whitney!

They had a really cool rehearsal dinner out in the country. We got a neat landscape from it.

Cool guitar huh? Actually it’s a groom’s cake! What’s really cool is that the bridge was made of rice crispy treats! I wanted to eat that guitar, but I couldn’t because it was not splurge day. Shawn’s a big CO sports fan, and also a doctor, so that’s what the stick’s represent.

I’m going to feature a couple detail shots of the Broadmoor, just because it’s such a cool place. More down the post.

When I arrived, Whitney was getting hair done… and a massage!

They don’t look too bad together, either. They were willing to meet before the ceremony, which makes my job so much easier!

The Councourse de Elegance, a really fancy car show was going on, so we snuck in for a few shots.

OK, I am going to post a lot of shots from the ceremony, but I just love em all! In fact, if posting too many shots from the ceremony is wrong of me…

Everyone knows that my fav. time to photograph guests is right as they’re getting seated.

And just like that, it started to rain…

OK, it didn’t just rain, it POURED!

it kept coming down… but we all loved it!
