Karl & Jackie, Arrowhead Golf Club
I am trying again to get caught up on my wedding blogging! Here’s Karl and Jackie! This would have been a very fun wedding in itself, but it was expecially fun (I like misspelling words on purpose, that way when I accidentally mess up, you will think I was just being silly. Clever, eh?) because Karl was in my fraternity back in College, and even though Karl and I were never “TIGHT”, the wedding was packed with tons of my “brothers”. I also counted 6 couples at this wedding whose weddings I have photographed, so I guess joining Sigma Chi was a good move for my business!
Nevertheless, I have a standard “friends and family” discount, which is not much at all, but it keeps things fair when old friends or family come to me to shoot their wedding. I’d love to hook everyone up with a better discount, but I never want to play favorites and I am trying to make a living and wedding photography is actually exhausting - even for the ironman that I am!
That said, I am glad that Karl and Jackie chose me as their wedding photographer, despite my less-than-ideal friend discount!
How about some photos!
I met Jackie at her home where she was getting ready. Dress was hanging by the windo and oh so beautiful!

Her shoes made for nice details too!

But the nicest detail of the whole day was Jackie’s sweet smile! Am I a man of words, or what. Huh? What’s that? I’m cheesy? Well, pessimistic peep, my silky dialog worked on Jenny so there!
At the wedding site. Anyone who has ever been to this golf course knows how nice the scenery is. I played a horrible game of golf here recently. Holy awesome weather!

Here’s the groom and my friend, Karl!

OK I am going to take a moment to plug my wedding day guestbooks to any of my future brides. I had these at a couple of my most recent weddings and the response was overwhelming! We take shots from your engagement session, have them professionally designed and bound into an 8″ book, and it comes with a silver ink gel pen. Guests write directly onto the pages. It’s SO cool!

Guest shots while they are seated are my favorite signature portraits. I’m just going to claim these as my signature style before anyone else does. Oh that that’s Matt, my old college room mate! Matt is one of the most talented video editors on the earth, no joke. I really appreciate his passion for what he does. His wife Jennifer is a doll, too.

Karl waits with much anticipation

Jackie did the first part of the walk with her step-father…

…and the second part with her father.

One happy couple at the alter.

This is Dan. I will be shooting his wedding in Idaho next year. Juvenile of me to do this to his photo? Maybe. This is what he’ll look like in all of his wedding photos next year muhhhhaahahaha!

OK OK here’s a nice shot of Dan… and his fiance’ Angie

Family Photo. I love this shot!

A flowergirl hand-made this perftastic necklace for the beautiful bribe.

one final look at the bride. Hey guys, thanks so much for having me out to your wedding, I had SUCH a great time!
