Funny Bumper Schticker / Travel with Rob
I saw a funny bumper sticker a while ago and wanted to blog about it. Today I saw a funny quote on my bike advisor, Cory Grunk’s blog (which is worth checking out, although he needs to update it more often!): ANTIROBOT
The sticker I saw, read, “I like my globe warm”. I like when I get surprised… you know the word that jumped out at me before I had a chance to read, was “globe”. Immediately I assumed it was some sort of activist sticker, then once I saw it was satirical, it make me bust out a laugh, regardless of my political position. Some people think I commute on my bike to “save the earth”, but its much more selfish than that. I love the adventure, the exercise, the fresh air and the ability to break traffic laws and not sweat too much about it. I love the minimalist lifestyle. But hey if I am saving the earth, even better. 
But I have made sixpeeps.com a political-FREE zone, so you don’t have to worry about me getting all preachy, and I don’t have to worry about you getting “all up in my business”! (just kidding!) What a deal!
Finally I wanted to plug my friend Rob Hawthorne’s new business, “travel with Rob”. It’s where I plan to buy my airline tickets, I took it for a test drive and it’s so fast and easy to use. It’s an air travel site, kind of like Expedia, etc… but personally I think it’s a lot less cluttered and super fast: http://www.travelwithrobonline.com
I need to ask Rob, but I think if you travel often, you can set up an account so that it remembers all your pertinant info, making it not super easy, but SUPER DUPER easy.
Rob is also the photographer for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. They maake him travel to exotic locations to photograph them in swimsuits. Uhhhh NO THANKS.

a warm globe means polar bears will become extinct.
Now, do you really think that is funny? Maybe a bumper sticker that says “I like my hot chocolate warm” would be funny, but a globe? That is not funny.

I think a funny bumber sticker would say: “I like my hiney warm…that is why I am driving a car and not riding a bike to work.”

OK let me just say that I also don’t think “global warming” is funny. It’s awful!
But that bumper sticker made me laugh. It’s late-night talk show kind of funny. It’s funny because not everyone thinks it’s funny… if that makes any sense.
