Dan & Angie Engagement take 1
First of all, this photoshoot came on a SPLURGE DAY (Sunday) and I try to reserve Splurge Day as my “Day Off”, but Angie baked me the most delightful splurge day cookies so I am no longer upset. Oh and Dan has been a good friend of mine since 1995 when I pledged Sigma Chi, a college fraternity. Well during my pledgehood, Dan was too busy hazing me for me to consider him a friend, but it eventually all worked out. Now he’s paying me to photograph the wedding. SUCKER!
Joking aside, I was really excited to shoot with Dan and Angie. If you knew Dan at all, you would know how perfect a match Angie is for him. Both have really crude, but hilarious senses of humors’. Did I spell that right? Unfortunately it was raining right as we started, so we decided to do this in two phases; we’ll be doing another shoot in the city later since we only only got about half the shots of what we hoped.
I’m going to just start this post with my favorite shot. Look at how the wind blew Angies hair, making her look like a gorgeous model. That’s hott.

OK so their har is a little wet, but I think it’s still a total keeper. Love the Sepia tone. It doesn’t show off the fall colors as much. Am I goth or something? I love Sepia and BW, even in the pretty fall season.

These were taken at the University of Denver campus, which is where really smart and wealthy kids go to school. Really pretty campus though.

Since it started raining too much to continue, we went to Dan’s house and he showed me a guitar game on his Intendo. Angie is the president of his fan club. I think they do this often!

It stopped raining a bit so Dan and Angie wanted to do a few shots with his cat, Doug-E-Fresh. I think that is weird. But since Dan is a friend, I went along with it. Dan got Doug-E-Fresh after his previous cat, Chuck-D fatefully passed away. I am not into cats, but I like Doug. Doug is passionate about chasing candy wrappers.

OK now this is really wierd, but I will post it anyway.

We will finish it off with a more “normal” engagement photo. ![]()

Congrats on your engagement. Sorry about the fowl weather, we’ll do take II soon!
