What do I have in common with Kobe Bryant?

Well after tomorrow I can say I went to court at the same courthouse as Kobe!

I got a speeding ticket in Vail. It was really lame, I wasn’t even going that fast. I got a ticket for going 62 in a 55. A police friend of mine told me that there is a 10 mph safe zone over the limit. Liar.

But I had an expired insurance card, so I have to go to court with a copy of my insurance proving that yes, indeed I have… and had at the time, insurance. Well at least it’s a beautiful drive. Could be worse, I could have to go to court in Trinidad, CO.

It’s also Halloween. Do you think the judge would show some humor if I showed up dressed as Kobe? I’ll assume no on that. But I do plan on shouting a good Law and Order “I OBJECT!” at some random point of my little hearing. I have always wanted to do that.
