Team Cafiero is GROWING (Just in time for our slow season!)

I wanted to give props to some new people who are joining our team! God help us, we have had our busiest season yet with a total of like 80 weddings this past season. PHEW.

First, a big THANKS to Lisa, our editor who has been very nice about constantly changing policies, and has stuck with us for two years, and has sorted through hundreds of thousands of images. Lisa you are a HUGE asset, and I really appreciate all your great work!

Maria is our newest album designer. She hails from Vermont, comes from a serious Italian family, and she has proven to be a very fast learner of our software and a smart and talented album designer.

And last but definitely not least, KENDRA, who starts tomorrow as our first Studio Manager! I stole Kendra from my very own AZ studio partner, Jim Kennedy. She worked at his machine of a studio in Huntington Beach (who puts out almost three HUNDRED weddings per year), but just happened to move to CO to go to school for interior design. Last week I showed Kendra our current workflow and filing system, and I believe she is ready to change things in a big way. She will be helping to make my workflow FASTER and more efficient, and will bring Lisa and Maria closer together and handle all customer service issues so that I can try to make big things happen.

Currently I am trying to automate 5 monsters (businesses) that I have created:

1. Cafiero Photographers (Of course): Running Strong
2. PhotoMosca (my associate program): Growing FAST
3. GreekShots (College Event Photography): Under Rennovation
4. Pro Photo Alliance (Online Proofing Business): Under Rennovation, preparing for a huge ZAG and reintroduction to the market in 2008!!
5. and one brand new business that will launch this week. I can’t talk about this one yet, but I will someday.

So anyway, Kendra is going to be instrumental in freeing up my time so that I can get all of them automated, and well-oiled. I’ll say it again: CALGON!!!

Also major props to Peggy, my AZ rep, Jenny, who has been a huge help across the board, Jared and Robert and Amber (AZ) who have been amazing associate photographers. Jim Brown, our Greek Shots Manager (when you coming home, Jim? (he’s in China!)), Lenny and William, my business partners with Pro Photo Alliance. William just came on board and wow, things are moving forward again after 5 years of being a pretty “blah” system. Mario, my dad, who is COO of my new business, Nick, my cousin who will soon have an important roll with that as well, and Jim, who I’m opening the AZ studio with. For random sake, here is a photo of my nephew’s the Groucho Bro’s. Meet Jay and Luke. No children were harmed in the making of this photo. Luke is not crying because of the mustache, he actually loves the mustache. He was just being cranky about who knows what.
