Not Hatin’
Yesterday I saw a woman who was wearing a shirt that proclaimed, “Don’t hate me because you aint me”. Hmmmm…
I took a good look at her, and I have to say that I definitely “aint” her. And it definitely did not make me want to hate her for that reason.
I really hate t-shirts that say things like that, or other things like “princess” or “I’m not spoiled, I’m just always right”. Etcetera.
Lately I have been really trying to stick to my New Year “resolution” of doing a better job of letting things roll off my back. Remember when I posted about washing my car, the sun was out and Margaritaville was playing? I declared that I was going to live life under all circumstances with that vacation mindset. It’s not always easy, but I have been doing a great job of not allowing any of the millions of daily chiggers to bring me down. I admire people who laugh off other people and things that annoy them. So I am training myself to do the same. I believe it will make my overall daily mood much brighter and will result in a longer life. Serious!
Also this week is National Clean Your Desk week. Since hiring Kendra, our new studio manager, my office is filed and organized like never before. I really can’t believe the transformation that has taken place at work. Thanks Kendra!
That’s all for now. I ran into some of my older wedding photos from 2005 and I think I’ll post some of them for old time sake. It was really fun to revisit some old wedding.
