Julia & Jason, Engagement Photos
Julia and Jason wanted to do AM photos and so I told them, “OK let’s meet at 5:30 AM”. It was the summer solstice so the sun rises EARLY and too late means bad light! Ideally, PM, around 6:00 is good, but if you want AM, RISE AND SHINE!
They resisted (like any normal person would!) and we settled for 7 AM, and it was almost perfect! 
We had a lot of fun, shooting these in Boulder, CO by the Kayak Park. Jason here has performed the phoenominal achievement of climbing all of Colorado’s 54 14ers, to which I say, “DANNNNG!”. Strong work on that! He climbed many on his own, which can be a little sketchy!
I hate it when my subjects smile for engagement photos. Therefore this one is the best.
